A new year is almost here, and I thought it was time for some inspiration for things to learn. You have a chance to receive Primitive Technology by David Wescott. David began teaching primitive skills with Larry Dean Olsen, author of Outdoor Survival Skills, almost 50 years ago, so he has certainly been around a while. The book consists of short articles on experimental archaeology, fire, bone, stone and wood, fibres, projectiles, art and music. It is a great starting point if you want to make things yourself and gain a deeper understanding of the ancient technologies behind parts of bushcraft. To enter, go to Craft by Karlsson’s Facebook page, share the giveaway post there, like Craft by Karlsson and Bushcraft Sverige, and leave a comment on the post. Four things in total! 🙂 Good luck — I hope we can meet and create together.
