Emergency care using L (C) ABCDE and handing over to healthcare professionals.

We will explain what L (C) ABCDE stands for and briefly cover what happens at each stage. This theoretical introduction helps you understand how professionals work and why. Having this background also makes it easier to concentrate on practical tasks during training instead of learning the mnemonic.

We will also cover a method for handing over an injured person to, for example, an ambulance team, and the information they need.

Teaching time: approximately 45 minutes.
