Make your own carving knife · 26 September

Description

Starting with a traditional knife blade, we will use simple methods to make a handle and sheath. Materials will come from our surroundings, and no advanced tools are required. In principle, the blade itself is all we need.

Using local materials means that, if the handle or sheath breaks, it is easy to repair or replace in the woods.

We will also cover decoration, including chip carving and kolrosing, as well as surface finishing.

Refreshments and materials for the handle and sheath, including the knife blade, are included in the fee. This course is run in collaboration with Morakniv.
